Watch a choir rehearsal from a singer’s POV

Every choir is unique. Singing groups range enormously in genre, size and membership. So even if you’ve sung in choirs for your whole life, you likely wouldn’t know how it feels to sing in a different one to your usual. We’re here to rectify that by putting you in the shoes of one of our choir members!

Meet Will

Will is one of our Tenors at The Bach Choir, who bravely agreed to put a camera on his head to show you what it’s like to sing with us. Below you can see him in the midst of rehearsal – the camera definitely attracted some attention. Don’t worry Will – they’re laughing with you, not at you!

POV… you’re in The Bach Choir

Here’s what Will saw during our rehearsal… keep watching to see a clip of the Choir singing Duruflé’s Requiem from a brand new angle!

This rehearsal was for our upcoming Au Printemps concert at Holy Trinity Sloane Square – that’s happening on Thursday 19 March and you can hear some of the Introit towards the end of the clip. If this video has made you curious about joining The Bach Choir, we hold regular auditions and all are very welcome – find out more about joining The Bach Choir here.
