We’ve reached our 150th anniversary season! On our journey here, we’ve performed in some incredible venues like the Royal Albert Hall, premiered works like the UK premiere of Bach’s Mass in B minor and we’ve even appeared in film soundtracks like Gladiator II and The Martian.
We’ve been lucky enough to receive an enormous number of messages of congratulations from our previous collaborators. This month we’re sharing messages from superstar conductor Anthony Gabriele who we worked with at Classic FM’s Live at the Movies concert in April and Harry Gregson-Williams who composed the soundtrack of Gladiator II, The Martian and many other films in which we’ve featured. After receiving the messages, we decided to ask Harry and Anthony what their favourite Bach works were. Their answers might surprise you!
