On Monday 15 December at Cadogan Hall, we witnessed two very exciting new works from the winners of the Sir David Willcocks Carol Competition 2025, Arthur Togneri and Ian Crawford. Their works captivated our audiences and the judging panel who chose them as winners. This year, those judges were David Hill MBE, Sir John Rutter, Errollyn Wallen, Joanna Shaw and Jonathan Willcocks. As far as Christmas carol expertise goes, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better team than that!
