About Sir John Rutter

Sir John Rutter’s reputation speaks for itself – his music has featured in a number of British royal occasions, he’s one of only 28 composers who have received a prestigious Ivors Academy Fellowship and he was knighted in the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours. Despite all of this, Sir John retains the same down-to-earth charm he’s always had, which is a fact that our singers will attest to from our many rehearsals together – while you’ll learn an awful lot from this Come and Sing, you’ll also have a tremendous amount of fun!

Who can join?

All singers who read music are welcome. If you’re interested in coming but aren’t feeling confident about your singing then do let us know – we can pair you up with a member of The Bach Choir on the day, who will be more than happy to help.

“The best musical experience I’ve had in a very long time.” Jennifer, Soprano

“Such a relaxing yet stimulating experience – already looking forward to the next one!” Elspeth, Alto
